About Dr. R.K. Arora
Dr R K Arora is a highly decorated national security strategist, recipient of the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service, and a distinguished leader with over three decades of experience in National security, cyber operations, counter-terrorism, and defence technology. His command of sensitive operations across Kashmir, the Indo-Pak border, Cyber security, and Naxal-affected zones underscores his strategic acumen in conflict management and national defence.
A strong advocate for innovation, Dr Arora has been instrumental in deploying cutting-edge technologies on India’s borders, bridging operational needs with modern defence solutions. He serves as a Professor (Visiting) at IIT Delhi and Advisor to NCETIS at IIT Bombay, where he actively promotes research and indigenous innovation in national security and artificial intelligence.
As an academic visionary and institution builder, he led the Global Centre for Counter-Terrorism and shaped future leadership at Sardar Patel University of Police. His legacy blends field excellence with policy foresight, dedicated to building a safer, smarter, and more secure India.
